Well, maybe Russia should stop making life miserable for those people and focus on diversifying its economy, because if Europe becomes independent from Russian gas and oil, their whole archaic economy will go bankrupt.

To be clear, the law just doesn't cover those of us who identify as Transgender (Which, there's a lot of fighting to get it changed to a physical disorder, not a mental disorder. We aren't mentally ill, people.), but it pretty much covers any mental disorder and fetish, period.

If you have a fetish or anything that can be classified as a disorder (including the most common phobias), you can't drive in Russia.

Exactly. They're banning people with "mental disorders" from driving - which, by Russian definition, includes trans folks.

Which I think is even worse than just banning trans folks directly.

Actually, the World Health Organization recognizes it as a mental disorder; but since it's based on decades old observations, even they admit that they need to change it.

Transgender identities will likely be considered a physical disorder as there's little evidence to prove that we're mentally ill; just dissatisfied with the gender we were assigned with at birth.

It's how I identify as well. :)

I know who I am Psychologically. The person on the inside has not changed and will not change (though HRT will do some things to my emotions). Physiologically speaking? I feel my female form is the true me. I was dissatisfied with being a guy, it felt like a few pieces of the puzzle were missing. I never felt comfortable.
